Our Lovely Mares Page -
JAKS - Shown here at 3 years old coming on 4. She is a lovely 15.1 hand palomino MFTHBA (Missouri foxtrotter) mare. JAKS is set in her gaits and a pleasure to ride. A few months ago, JAKS got her back foot caught in the fence - instead of panicking, she stood there quietly while we cut her out. She has a great mind. She will most likely mature to 15.3 hands. JAKS foxtrots and is oh-so-sweet and calm. She is much darker gold than this picture shows and is dappled. She will be bred to Leo next year - until then we will enjoy riding her out on the trails and jumping her! $ 8,500
The one and only Dolly. She will be bred to Leo this winter for her very first, much-anticipated baby. She is the smoothest horse you will ever ride. She is natural in her gaits, lies down for you to get on and is a pleasure to handle for any age of rider. (Dolly is my 9 year old novice daughter's absolute favorite horse to ride.) She gives everyone that "foxtrotter grin". $50,000
The gorgeous Ginger. She reminds me a little of Ginger from Gilligan's Island - pretty and she knows it. Ginger is 4 year old, very well bred MFTHBA mare. She is a full sister to JAKS (pictured above). Ginger is stocky and so well put together she could win at halter competitions. She stands 15.2 hands. She will be bred to Leo in the spring. $3,500 for Ginger.
